2023 Visions Award

Spero's Hope receives Community Partner Award from VISIONS/Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired.

On April 28, 2023, VISIONS/Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired presented Spero's Hope with a Community Partner Award at their Employer Partner Networking Breakfast. Spero's Hope has been a long-term partner assisting VISIONS in preparing their participants for their job search.

VISIONS develops and implements individualized programs to assist people who are blind and visually impaired of all ages to lead independent and active lives, and to educate the public to understand their capabilities and needs. Spero's Hope trustees, staff, and volunteers conduct mock interviews and develop resumes and cover letters for VISIONS participants who are completing their workforce readiness program.
