Winter Clothing Donation, November 6, 2021

Spero's Hope donates warm winter accessories to our Hamilton Heights neighbors.

After our successful June 2020 food donation program in Hamilton Heights, we wanted to do something else for this community in 2021. On November 6, 2021, we donated warm winter accessories—hats, gloves, scarves and socks—to adults, teens and children in the community. We also donated products to Iglesia Alfa y Omega in Flanders, NY for distribution to their parishioners and community, as well as to Women in Need which is a provider of shelter and supportive housing in New York City.

We are thankful to Sports Time for providing warm, quality products and to the parishioners from the Church of St. Catherine of Genoa for partnering with us on this event. We would not have been able to hold this event without their location and logistics support. We also thank all the volunteers and organizers for making this event a success!
